Your coating lasts with proper care
A Cerakote ceramic coating is backed by Cerakote’s Best-In-Class 5 Year Limited Warranty (kept active with our twice-yearly Ceramic Maintenance Wash), and when it’s maintained properly or the vehicle is kept in a garage, it can even last beyond that. Regular, gentle washing at home makes a big difference. Use a ceramic-safe, pH-balanced soap, clean wash mitts and soft drying towels. Every coating we install comes with a take-home aftercare kit, so you’re set up with the right products from day one.
Keeping Your Warranty Active
To keep Cerakote’s Best-In-Class 5 Year Limited Warranty active, we’ll need to see your vehicle twice a year for a Ceramic Maintenance Wash. See Cerakote’s warranty details and full warranty terms. These appointments let us keep your coating performing its best and catch any small issues early.
Each Ceramic Maintenance Wash includes:
- A ceramic-safe, pH-balanced hand wash
- Iron and chemical fallout removal
- A Cerakote ceramic topper to refresh slickness and water beading
- A full inspection to make sure your coating is performing the way it should
Over time, everyday driving leaves behind iron particles and road grime that regular washing doesn’t always remove. These visits clear that away and keep your coating looking sharp between home washes.
The Ceramic Maintenance Wash is regularly $250 plus tax, but as a Cerakote customer you’ll pay just $200 plus tax, a 20% discount.
If something comes up
If we spot anything during your Ceramic Maintenance Wash, in most cases we’ll take care of it right then and there. Life happens. A panel might get scuffed, or a repair might mean part of the coating needs attention. We can usually polish the area and reapply coating on the spot, which is quite common after damage or bodywork. For anything bigger, we’ll let you know and set up a time that works for you.
